Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services Ltd (KAMS) is the leading regional Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service (ACCHS) in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Since its establishment in 1986, KAMS has worked to provide a unified voice for Aboriginal health and well-being, delivering essential resources and advocacy in collaboration with its Member Services.

Position Summary
The Receptionist will be based in Balgo on a Casual basis. You will play a pivotal role in our health centre by supporting the seamless coordination of client care. This position involves performing a range of reception and administrative duties aimed at enhancing the overall efficiency of our health services.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform all duties in alignment with KAMS policies and procedures.
- Greet community members, assisting with patient tracking through the MMEx system.
- Communicate with health staff regarding clients who may require attention.
- Answer phone calls and relay messages promptly and professionally.
- Assist with office supply management and maintain a well-organised workspace.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a motivated individual who excels in a team environment and possesses strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to confidentiality and privacy while providing exemplary service to our clients.
- Current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain.
- Proficient word processing and clerical skills.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- A team player with the ability to work autonomously.
- Desirable qualifications include experience in a clerical environment, familiarity with computer applications, and connections to the local Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander community.
Salary & Benefits
This is a casual position offering a base salary of $55,317 per annum pro rata, complemented by:
- casual loading of 25%.
