Position Overview
The ICT Support Officer will be based in Broome on a Full-time Fixed Term 12 month Contract. You will play a crucial role in delivering ICT support, assistance, and training to all KAMS and Member Services employees. This position involves maintaining existing ICT hardware and software to ensure optimal availability for stakeholders. The successful candidate will be expected to travel to remote sites as necessary, providing both critical and non-critical ICT services while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanour.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide hardware and software support to KAMS and member services employees and stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve general ICT issues and faults within KAMS and supported sites.
- Assist end users with various ICT hardware and applications.
- Manage and resolve faults reported to the IT Help Desk promptly and courteously.
- Maintain IT hardware and software registers and assist with routine maintenance, upgrades, and testing.
- Identify and report digital threats and recurrent faults to the ICT Manager and team.
- Travel to remote sites to provide necessary ICT support and maintenance services.
- Support phone systems and voicemail operations.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in ICT support, coupled with exceptional communication and customer service skills. We are looking for someone who is punctual, reliable, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Sound communication skills, both written and oral.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and software.
- Demonstrated capacity to complete tasks effectively.
- High level of integrity with a commitment to confidentiality.
- Current Driver’s Licence is required.
- Willingness to travel regularly, sometimes at short notice.
- Current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one.
Desirable qualifications include prior experience in ICT support roles, familiarity with network hardware and software, experience with Microsoft Server technologies, and 4WD driving experience in the Kimberley region. We are particularly interested in candidates who are local Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander individuals with connections to the region.
Salary & Benefits
This position offers a base salary of $76,101 per annum pro rata. Additional benefits include:
- Annual airfare allowance of $1,285 after 12 months of service
- Accommodation allowance of $7,800 per annum pro rata
- District allowance of $2,920 (single) or $5,840 (double) per annum pro rata
- Electricity allowance of $1,440 per annum pro rata
- Optional salary sacrifice up to $30,000 per annum pro rata is also available
