Your Role in Our Vision

As the Integrated Care and Commissioning Regional Project Officer, you will be the driving force behind the Integrated Care Commissioning Project, working closely with the ICC Coordinator and a diverse range of stakeholders. Your base in Broome will position you at the heart of community engagement, enabling you to foster relationships that lead to impactful health outcomes.

  • Assist in crafting and executing a robust implementation strategy for the Integrated Care Commissioning Project.
  • Coordinate and support stakeholder meetings, ensuring that voices from our communities are heard and valued.
  • Engage in capacity-building initiatives that empower local organisations and enhance the delivery of care services.
  • Contribute to program evaluation and continuous improvement efforts, ensuring our services meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.

Who You Are

We’re looking for a dedicated individual who shares our commitment to Aboriginal community control and cultural safety. You will bring a deep understanding of the issues impacting care sector outcomes for Aboriginal people, along with experience in administrative support within care programs. Your ability to work collaboratively with government departments and local stakeholders will be essential in driving our mission forward.

  • Demonstrated commitment to Aboriginal Community Control and cultural safety principles.
  • Strong understanding of the aged care, disability, and veterans’ care systems.
  • Experience in working with community organisations and building partnerships.
  • Willingness to travel across the Kimberley region as required.

For your hard work and dedication to this role, you will receive a base salary of $77,663  per annum pro rata + super. 

In addition to this salary, you will have access to a further host of benefits, including:

  • Accommodation allowance of $13,000;
  • Electricity allowance of $1,440 p.a;
  • mobile allowance $50 /month
  • District allowance of $2,920 p.a. (single) or $5,840 p.a. (double);
