Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services Ltd (KAMS) is a regional Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Aboriginal people in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Established in 1986, KAMS advocates for its member health services while providing comprehensive primary healthcare and various support programs across remote communities.

Position Overview
The Receptionist plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient coordination of client care at the Bidyadanga Clinic on a Part-time basis. Working closely with the Health Centre Manager and other staff, you will manage reception and administrative duties that facilitate optimal service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform all duties in accordance with KAMS policies and procedures.
- Greet community members and coordinate patient arrivals using MMEx "patient tracking."
- Update client demographic information and maintain confidentiality.
- Handle incoming calls and relay messages professionally and promptly.
- Manage patient documentation, including scanning and updating records.
- Assist with office supply management and prepare mail for despatch.
- Provide information on available health services to clients.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a safe work environment.
- Comply with relevant legislation and organisational standards.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organisational skills, with a commitment to teamwork and confidentiality. You will be self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Demonstrated word processing and clerical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a welcoming demeanour.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to health and safety standards.
- National Police Clearance is mandatory.
Salary & Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary of $62,815 per annum pro rata, along with additional benefits including:
- Annual airfare allowance of $1,285 p.a pro rata (after 12 months of service)
- The opportunity for salary sacrifice up to $30,000 p.a pro rata.
