Position Overview

The Compliance Officer (Quality) will be based in Broome on a Part-time basis. Will be responsible for providing vital administrative support to maintain the Quality Management System (QMS). This role involves managing the LogiQC software and ensuring our accreditation standards are met, while training and supporting staff across all levels of the organisation.

As a key member of the Sector Strengthening and Compliance unit, you will work closely with the Quality Coordinator to implement and improve quality management practises, contributing to the overall mission of KAMS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer the LogiQC Quality Management System, managing user accounts and providing training to staff.
  • Conduct regular in-house workshops and training sessions to enhance staff competency in utilising the QMS.
  • Liaise with accreditation bodies to prepare for audits and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Monitor and manage overdue items and maintain the LogiQC Audit Register.
  • Assist in project development and implement improvements in the QMS.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and demonstrate a high level of communication ability, both verbal and written. You should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.

  • Current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one.
  • Previous experience in administration and providing support or training.
  • Proficient in Windows applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently while demonstrating initiative.
  • Experience in the Aboriginal Community Control sector is desirable.

Salary & Benefits

The annual salary for this position is $72,588 (pro rata), along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Accommodation allowance of $7,800 per annum pro rata
  • District allowance of $2,920 (Single) or $5,840 (Double) per annum pro rata
  • Electricity allowance of $1,440 per annum pro rata
  • Annual airfare of $1,285 (after 12 months of service) and 
  • The option for salary sacrifice up to $30,000 per annum pro rata
