Kimberley Renal Services (KRS) includes 4 Renal Health Centres based in Fitzroy Crossing, Broome, Kununurra, and Derby and a mobile prevention unit.
The incidence of Kidney Disease in the Kimberley is one of the highest in Australia. Chronic Kidney disease (CKD) and End-Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD) incidence within the Aboriginal population of the Kimberley greatly exceeds the national burden of disease. Dialysis prevalence for this region has more than tripled in the last decade and is increasing at a much faster rate than in the rest of Western Australia (WA).
About the Opportunity
Kimberley Renal Services now has an opportunity for a FCRHC (Fitzroy Crossing Renal Health Centre) Senior Administrative Assistant to join their KRS team in Fitzroy Crossing, WA, in a full-time, ongoing basis. The FCRHC Senior Administration Assistant works collaboratively with the Renal Services Manager in delivering business support and efficient running of the Renal Health Centre.
This position is responsible for the management of building maintenance and equipment and some of your key administration duties will include:
- Service Agreements
- Submission of reports in a timely manner
- Ordering of stock and preparation of purchase orders
- Delivery of reception services and administration support to the Renal Health Centre

About You
To be successful in this position, you will need to have previous administration experience along with a Cert IV in Administration or a willingness to work towards. You will also have sound computer and keyboard skills, proficient in Microsoft office suite, excellent time management and well developed interpersonal skills to communicate both written and verbally.
You will also be committed to the philosophy and practice of Aboriginal Community Control, acting in a culturally appropriate manner at all times.
Please note: To be eligible for this role, you will be required to hold a current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence. Your employment will also be subject to a National Police Clearance (within past three months).
